Debuting with Prema Chadarangam, Vishal gained popularity as a mass hero with the flick Pandem Kodi. He did all his movies in Tamil and later they were dubbed in to Telugu. This way he is popular in Tollywood also. After doing action movies Pandem Kodi, Pogaru, Salute in a row, Vishal faced setback with few flop movies.With thjis he changed his route and now doing a movie Theertha Vilayattu Pille, in which he is playing the role of a boy who is mad after the girls. It is something like a casanova type of character. Tanusri Dutta, Sara John and Neethu Chandra are playing heroines in it.
