It was director Puri Jagannadh who introduced Heroine Hansika Motwani to Telugu films through Allu Arjun starrer Desamuduru, directed by him. Again he wanted to cast her in his forthcoming movie "Golimaar" with Gopichand as hero. It is said that Hansika didn't agree to reduce her remuneration from 80 lakhs. Though none of her recents releases Maska and Jayeebhava fared well at the box-office, she didn't relent to cut down her price. This irked Puri and he may dump her from Golimaar. On the other hand , it is also possible that Hansika might have seen that neither Puri had any substantial hit recently. It is likely that Puri may not venture to severe ties with her.
