C.M. Rosaiah Links Telangana With Film Shoots

Due to the agitations taking place in Andhra Pradesh at present, one of the most affected industry is the film industry. It is widely known that TRS activists are resorting to attacks on film shoots of artistes belonging to Rayalaseema and Andhra regions. The film industry has strongly condemned the attacks and chief minister Rosaiah spoke to the media about the issue. He said " by obstructing film shoots, the losers mostly will be Telangana people. Because the film industry does not belong to one actor or actress. The industry is providing employment to lakhs of people. Out of which, 70 to 80 percent are locals (Telanganaites). In this present situation it is not proper to resort to attacks on film shootings. The film crew contains people from all regions. Particularly people from Hyderabad and Telangana districts.. and all other regions in the State are being benefitted by the industry. The government will definitely come to the rescue of film industry in present circumstances. It will take appropriate actions to protect it."
