Item girl Mumaith Khan said that Star Night committee has played politics to block her participation in the program. Initially the committee has requested her to present a song item in the program. Accordingly she rehearsed and readied an item for the showBut at the last moment she was told not to present her item because it is a program conducted for flood victims and glamour items will not fit in to it. She says " going through the program, I found the program full of glamour songs. It is all because of the politics played by some prominent people
