One of the biggest blockbusters of Telugu film industry, "Arundhati" marked its presence in the coveted list of Nandi Awards. The awards were announced earlier today, and Arundhati bagged a whopping, 10 awards. The film won in all major technical categories like Editing, Special Affects, Costumes, akeup, Art direction, audiography. Sonu Sood bagged the best villain award and Anushka took away the Special Jury award. Arundhati was incidentally one of the very few big-budget films which took away the top honours. This year, it's the small films which took everyone by surprise. As expected, content driven films were given the top honours by the State Government. "Gamyam" directed by Radhakrishna won 4 awards, including awards for Best Feature film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Lyric Writer. Another film "Nenithe" by Puri Jagganth won 3 awards including Best Actor for Ravi Teja, Best Dialogues for Puri, Best Fights. Swati bagged the nandi award for Best Actress for "Asta Chemma".
