Theater owners have come to the conclusion that if agitations in the State will continue for some more time, it would be better for them to close the theaters and look out for some other business. The recent releases like Aarya-2 and Katha are suffering drasic fall in the collections. For the two days bandh in the State on separate Telangana issue has put the industry in a loss of five crores. Now Samaikyandhra agitation has taken momentum and theaters are being closed in coastal, rayalaseema and andhra regions during bandhs and protests. There was a continuous bandh for four days in Ananthapur district. If the situation goes on like this for another ten days, then high budget movies which are ready for release have to be postponed. As of noe Aarya-2, Amaravathi, Saraayi Veerraju, Saleem and Katha are fast slipping in to losses.
