Heroine Hansika Motwani debuted in Telugu movies with Puri Jagannadh directed Desamuduru co-starring with hero Allu Arjun. Later she acted in several hit movies like Kantri, Maska and also did an item number in Prabhas starred Billa. With all these she has gained a strong foot hold in Tollywood and substantial fan fare. Currently she is doing Seetharamula Kalyanam with hero Nitin. Since long she has been getting offers from Kollywood, but as she was concentrating fully on Telugu movies, didn't accept them. Finally she has agreed to do in the remake of a super hit Tamil movie 'Maa Pillai' in Tamil. In the past, Rajanikanth and Amala starred in it and now Hansika is playing heroine opposite to Dhanush in the remake
