After completing his B.A. Degree, NTR joined as a sub-Registrar in Govt. service. Later he left the job to act in films. Though he started his acting career with the movie "Naa Desam", he was already popular on stage as 'meesala nagamma'. He went on further to create history on silve screen with his portrayal of mythological characters, particularly that of Lord Krishna. Sixty glorious years have completed today for the illustrious cine career of late N. T. Ramarao, spanning from Naa Desam to Telugu Desam.
