Famous Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan passed away on Wednesday at the age of 59 due to heart attack. He was born in Mysore on 18 September 1950. He made his debut in to films with Puttanna Kanagal directed movie "Nagarahavu". He acted in 198 movies and was also known as a good singerVishnuvardhan bagged the National Best Actor Award for Girish Karnad's "Vamsa Vriksham". So far he achieved seven Kannada State Awards, South Indian Filmfare Award, 2004 Filmfare Life Achievement Award and in 2009 Dr. Rajkumar Award. He married famous actress Bharathi on 27th February 1975. They have two daughters Keerthi and Chandana. The entire Kannada film industry is struck with grief by his sudden demise. Prominent southern film personalities are expressing their sorrow over his death.
