Director N. Shankar has instilled dreams in Telangana youth by announcing that he would pick film heroes from Telangana region for his flicks in future. Speaking to a private TV channel, he said that he agrees with what KCR said "we have our own heroes and directors, we will make our own movies." In the past shankar has directed hit movies like Encounter, Jayam Manadera and Ram. Till the starting of separate Telangana moment he was participating in sittings on a script for Suresh Productions with Rana as hero. With Samaikyandhra supporter Mohan Babu also he has done movies Yamajathakudu and Sri Ramulayya in the past. Coming to the present, only one popular hero Nitin figures from Telangana area.
